About
rec.run is for people who miss Rec Room, or new players are curious what the game was like. The goal is to let you go back to the game, see your old memories again, and meet new friends.
Most revivals are stuck on 2023 or even 2021! This one targets a 2025 build. We're only making claims about that build, and nothing about features that haven't been confirmed.
How does it work?
Rec Room's main API servers shut down a while ago. By reverse engineering how those servers worked before the shutdown, we can recreate the experience.
To make the game connect to our servers, we use patches that redirect it to our API servers. All of our PC patches are open source, no viruses here!
